The THS/PH21ET is the essential and cost-effective solution within the 21 series, providing high sensitivity for the detection of all metals, including stainless steel contaminants. Built from robust AISI 316L stainless steel, it guarantees long-term reliability in an agile and compact design. The system manages up to 250 product profiles and logs 100,000 events via the IXC card, easily accessible through an alphanumeric display and a 4-key interface. It features integrated AUTOTEST and AUTO-QC functions for operational safety, with optional UL/CSA compliance. All product-contact parts are designed for tool-free disassembly, ensuring quick and easy cleaning procedures.Key Points
Detection Effectiveness and Digital Analysis
The THS/PH21ET offers high detection sensitivity for magnetic, non-magnetic, and stainless steel metals. Based on fully digital signal analysis, the system ensures that detection is totally independent of environmental electromechanical vibrations, ensuring absolute repeatability of results. For multiple installations, the device can be set to 4 different transmission channels (TX) to avoid mutual interference.
Specialized Configurations: DT (Dust Tight) and WIP (Wash In Place)
To meet different product handling needs, the system is available in dedicated variants. The DT (Dust Tight) configuration features a fully sealed, dust-tight transit tunnel and ejection system, effectively preventing product dispersion into the environment. The WIP (Wash In Place) version, on the other hand, is equipped with water injection nozzles that allow residues to be removed from parts in contact with the product at the end of the batch; in this version, the tunnel and ejection system are totally sealed for safe operation.
Construction Standards and Maintenance
Made of AISI 316L stainless steel with a mirror finish, the device complies with 21 CFR Parts 210 and 211 regulations. All parts in contact with the product are made of AISI 316L and PETG, materials chosen for maximum hygiene. The design allows for the disassembly and cleaning of internal components quickly and without the use of tools, optimizing machine downtime.
Process Safety and Quality Control
Operational safety is guaranteed by AUTOTEST, AUTO-QC functions, and Fail Safe mode. A double confirmation system constantly monitors the opening and closing of the EO/EC ejection flaps, with programmable actuation force to adapt to different product types. The Control Power Box is certified according to UL 508A and CSA-C22.2 No. 14-05 standards, with a 90-253 VAC universal power supply.
Interface, Traceability, and Connectivity
The system features a high-contrast OLED display and a stainless steel keyboard, supporting up to 40 operators and 250 product profiles. In compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 11, it manages electronic records and digital signatures. Connectivity includes RS-232, integrated Bluetooth, and Ethernet or Wi-Fi options for seamless integration into corporate digital systems.
